Distant Selling Laws;
All distant selling laws state customers have 14 days in which to request a refund or to exchange their items. This is the law if anyone is selling items online, if you feel the item isn’t as described then you are entitled to a full refund inc original postage. This can be obtained once your item has been posted back via recorded post, in its original condition and within 14 days of purchase date.

I want every customer to feel like a Prince or Princess, so if you’re not happy with an item or just need to exchange it for a different size then please just let us know.

Delays and Refunds
All my items are custom hand mand pieces with love, so if I don’t have the item you have ordered and paid for in stock then I will have to get the materials ordered in, which can take any thing from a few days up to 4weeks. If your not happy to wait and would prefer a full refund then please just reply to your confirmation email which confirms your order, which will go to your PayPal email address usually.
Some items listed are one off pieces thEY can not be perfectly replicated so if the item is sold while I’m away at a show and I haven’t been able to remove from the site, I will give you the option of accepting a newly made piece or a alternative option if you would prefer. However if you had your heart set on it I’m always happy to give you a full refund.
Distance selling laws state that you have 14days in which you can change your mind and ask for a full refund once the product has been returned and in our safe hands. So if your not happy please email and let us know first, so we can arrange to be home to receive your item back via recorded delivery. If you have ordered a one off piece that has been hand created just for you in size and style then these items are not refundable.
Ok so we all like cookies but we might not like all these virtual cookies hiding in our Internet history. So I’ve had a word with the guys that host my website at mr.site and they have assured me that we are all covered with the content on my website.

All items are posted out Royal Mail recorded delivery unless other wise requested or stated, items in stock will be sent out straight away and other items which require hallmarks, plating or custom builds will take longer but will be confirmed via email following every cleared payment. So if you have placed an order please dont forget to check your payment email account or send me a email so i can contact you incase of delay or with your tracking ref. Once ive sent your tracking ref, if you item doesnt arrived in the time stated in the email, drop me a message or check the royal mail track and trace website to see where it is first.
Any items being returned for alterations, exchange or refund will need to be posted back via Royal Mail first class recorded post or as requested as any items lost in post, not sent recorded will NOT be the responsiblity of Kwicksilverkustoms, but the buyer of whom posted it.
Once i have your item back safe and in the same condition it was sent it ill sort the exchange once i have a replacement instock. Alterations can take a few days to a few weeks, or if i have a lot of work on as soon as its done ill send you a tracking ref to let you know its back out and on its way to you.
If you have sent your item back more than once then you will notice on the returns paper work it does require an additional £10 fee to be paid, this is to cover the addtional postage, packaing and time costs. Either make payment via cash, paypal to firstname.lastname@example.org or send a cheque made out to Miss C Adams.
Creation time of an item takes anything from 1 day to a few weeks
Snap-on spanners are usually created within 1-2 days, but getting them in stock can take up to 2 weeks before i get my magic hands on them
Once an item is made and ready to post, a confirmation email is sent to customers.
If an item takes a while to create an estimated compeltion date is given to customers, but this can vary and most of the time is out of my hands.
Items sent via special delivery posted Mon- Thursday usually arrive the following day before 1pm via royal mail, these items require a signature by you.
If your item didnt arrive next day, check your door for a while you were out card, dont find one then check the tracking ref i sent you via email on this website and see where your item is:

Items lost by royal mail or international mail
If your item has been lost by the postal service, we have to prove that its missing within the timescale of aprox 7-21 days.
Check your tracking ref
Check your local sorting office
Then the sending of the item needs to make a claim to royal mail
If you think your item has been lost, please send me a email and let me know so i can chase up royal mail, takes approx 4 weeks on a good day and were sort out a replacement item for you once we ahve an answer.
If your item arrives and its damaged what you need to do:
Take a photo of the packaging, keep the original packaging, take a photo of the item and send me an email with the photos: firstname.lastname@example.org
Royal mail will only accept damaged item claims if the original packaging can be presented with the item, so please send it all back to me to: Miss C Adams, 15, Westhill Road, Weymouth, Dorset, DT4 9NB and once i have it ill sort out a replacement.
Damaged items which you dont have the packaging for will not be replaced by kwicksilverkustoms,as we have no basis for a claim against Royal mail.
Items received back by customers which show signs of tampering or vice jaw marks on the spanner bracelets, will also not be replaced by kwicksilver customs, we offer free alter or exchange of spanners and only costs £3 for return postage when using royal mail 2nd classed signed for postal service. International returns will cost more.
So we all know when you have a great idea and put it up for sale, that someone is going to copy you, under cut you and probably say it was their idea!! we all know that feeling right. Well there isn’t anything i can do to stop them or you from doing that, but all i can say is good luck and hopefully one day your hand created item will be on the wrist of a famous motor bike rider like Guy Martin and someone will copy you and your know just how i feel
The legal implication if someone was to copy the Hazet spanner bracelet would be a breach of Hazet’s selling agreement with me so there would be law suit at some point.
The snap-on spanner bracelets i make i don’t have a legal agreement for, but snap-on are well aware of my creations, i wrote to them many years ago with the idea to their new tool idea center along with a few other designs which are still int he pipe line.
The Plain Spanner bracelets and rings are my design i have hand created, i have my own moulds for this design and it would infringe copyright if this item was reproduced identically to my item.
When i am asked to create a custom piece of jewellery by customers, their design is usually int he format of a conversation or pencil drawing, so for this reason unless otherwise stated at the initial time of commissioning an idea then this item may be replicated at no reconpence to the initial customer.
When a 2d drawing is brought to life in a 3d object it has changed format and no longer the same item or idea, so for this reason the person makng the item holds the rights for re sale, not the person with the idea. SO all you have to do is let me know if you want a one off item at the beginning
